Evaluation of a National Health Workforce Initiative in Ghana

This $12M initiative contributed to national strategies for health system strengthening through workforce development , pediatric nursing education and emergency preparedness across Ghana. As lead evaluator, I oversaw mixed-methods research and evaluations, co-designed 15 clinical assessments, supported e-learning scale-up for 20,000+ health workers, and led donor reporting and capacity-building efforts.

• Methods: Longitudinal mixed-methods evaluation, clinical competency assessment, objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), digital health implementation, statistical analysis
• Collaborated With: Ghana College of Nurses, Ghana Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Services, Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana, SickKids leadership team
